Answer E - Drawing water from the body.
Wicking means to draw moisture by capillary action. Clothing with wicking properties draws water from the body to outer layers. This type of clothing makes a good base layer as it draws sweat (or other water like rain) away from the body. Thus your base layer stays dry, keeping you warmer.
